StormBoy is a rising 4yr old Palomino Section'A' Miniature-Horse stallion.DAM: MINI WORD ROSEBUD 33.5inch S.O.D: BANKSTREAM CLASSIC32.5inch. StormBoy stands 34inch's at the wither and by the look of it he is not going to grow any more. In the summer 'Stormy' has a deep golden coloured coat and he has very few black hair's in his tail and none at all in his mane. He has no white markings on his head or legs.
Stormy is a very smart little stallion and he does trix such as rear's, bow's, lay's down jumps, stands up on any object he has been asked to and this is all on command! He has a great temperment, conformation, colour, and the most amazing movement we have ever seen on a miniature as he cover's the ground like a Riding-Pony does.
Stormboy has not yet been shown as his registration is pending but we are hoping we will get him out and about a little this coming show season as we can't wait to see how he will do in the show ring.
Out of Stormy's few progeny they all have his quality's, especially the temperment, movement and that 'look at me' presents and so far there has been some exciting colours. The kids can lead them around from the time they have been taught to lead and tie up and they just go along with the kids doing as they are told.
So far Stormy only has two foals on the ground. His first was born in 2004 and she is an exciting fine boned deep golden buckskin filly with a dishy 'arab' head out of a black buckskin mare(filly and mare unfortunatly not owned by us).
His second foal is another filly born in 2005, a creamy/chestnut and white pinto of very fine bone and an exquisitly dished 'arab' head. She out of a black mare with about five spots of white with underlying pink skin which we didn't think we would be able to get a pinto out of her as she has so little white.
